Uchuu Kyoudai has been the best anime of the Spring so far

At certain points I’ve had Sakamichi no Apollon and Fate/zero up as my favorites, but each week Uchuu Kyoudai has proved to be consistently adept at triggering all of my emotions—I just couldn’t ignore putting it at the top any longer. Mutta in particular has not ceased to make me laugh, smile and feel sympathy for every episode. Definitely one of the best characters this season. Can’t help but want to root for the guy to reach his goal, and in that the anime succeeds.
While Sakamichi no Apollon has been wonderfully crafted, it hasn’t been able to hit all the notes (pun intended) Uchuu Kyoudai has been able to. Also, Fate/zero, another high quality anime, is developing a bit too slow for my liking. Jormungand is home to one of the most fascinating characters in a while and my favorite this season: Koko Hekmatyar.
