So, That “Community” Game Is Completely Real…

populationgo:

A savvy and ambitious Community fan has decided to fully undertake creating a real version of the now famous video game-based episode of the critically-acclaimed comedy.

Journey To The Center of Hawkthorne, currently available on Reddit, is still in its very early stages, which means it still has bugs and only a few screens to play in, but that shouldn’t stop fans from dreaming up what the final version could possibly become. The creator is also adding many extra costumes to dress up the gang, which faithful fans of the series will instantly recognize.

Several screenshots of the game are after the break.

Gonna play this for sure.

Second NES cover featuring Jeff! Shall be doing the rest after I get some sleep, not being creative as I’d like right now, thanks for all the reblogs and likes for the Abed one though! Community fans are the best! (also enjoy the slight reference to a certain capcom franchise.)

Is Britta Community’s MVP this year? Her character has been consistently awesome.

Pierce: “Scream what I told you to scream!”
Dungeon Master: “Pierce Hawthorne is my master! Prepare to meet your doom!”
Community has really found something with Pierce these last two episodes. Usually he’s good for a racist line or two an episode, but this role of occasional neglected villain really fits the dynamic well, and gives the group another angle to bounce off of. It’s no coincidence that last week and this week have been the best the character has been in two seasons.

Community Character Chart
I would actually bump Troy up to good and Britta down a bit. If you had to characterize Troy, he probably would have the most “redeeming qualities” compared to the others, but still has flaws.

Community: Season 2
Thank you even more for being back! So glad they veered away from that retarded ending from the season 1 finale. A great episode to start off the season. With Lost gone, this just might be my favorite show on television.
